Get To Know the Band

The Tale Untold is a five-piece American metal band from Omaha, Nebraska, formed in 2016. Drawing from the weight of metal, the intricacies of prog, and the emotional intensity of post-hardcore and hard rock, the band creates a sound defined by contrast: aggressive yet melodic, technical yet visceral, heavy yet deeply personal.

Featuring Eliss Hall on lead vocals, Jon Frost on lead guitar, Jack Akiki on rhythm guitar and vocals, Ashlee Boyce on drums, and Cole Buckley on bass, The Tale Untold approaches songwriting as an exploration of the human experience.

Since their formation, the band has shared the stage with established acts including Rob Zombie, Motionless In White, In This Moment, The Black Dahlia Murder, The Devil Wears Prada, Monuments, and Lorna Shore. Their live performances extend beyond the stage, cultivating a community around heavy music through events like their annual Metal Pajama Party and Beach Party.

Refusing to be confined to a single sound or experience, The Tale Untold continues to carve out their own space in modern metal.
